Area Attractions

Orange City (http://orangecityiowa.com) -- with a population of about 6,000 -- is rooted in a Dutch heritage, founded by immigrants from The Netherlands in the late 1800s. The vibrant community is located just off the Highway 60 corridor connecting Omaha to Minneapolis – an easy drive to Sioux City and Sioux Falls, where there are a host of entertainment options, cultural and sporting events, and great shopping and dining. Being in the northwest corner of Iowa, we regularly welcome visitors and patrons from Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska who come to experience our distinct “Dutch Village” style shopping in a highly “walkable” downtown; parks, windmills, arts, culture, and events; Prairie Winds Event Center; great restaurants; and other attractions.

Orange City and the surrounding communities in Northwest Iowa boast a progressive business and industry climate, stellar educational systems, award-winning golf courses and other recreational opportunities, trail systems, year-round entertainment and arts options, and an outstanding quality of life.
