Health Care Services Manager/Assistant Department Director- House Operations Manager
The House Operations Manager (HOM) coordinates and facilitates patient care functions within the hospital.
The HOM position is being advertised as 60%. Primarily night shift Monday through Thursday (8 and 12 hour shift options), with Friday evenings (3:00PM-7:00PM). However, as needed, this position may need to provide HOM coverage, periodically, during weekends and vacation relief in the absences of hospital administration and department leaders. This individual will be included in the holiday rotation. Scheduling flexibility in working extra as needed is available. This individual assures that hospital policies and procedures are followed. They will notify appropriate nursing director and/or hospital administrator on-call of any problems or situations above his/her authority to solve that are of a complex or unusual nature. Positions in this job family usually have limited involvement in direct patient care and focus their efforts in planning, organizing, directing, evaluating, and improving health care operations, clinical education programs and research programs of clinical and health service departments.

3-5 years of experience in leadership/management roles
Demonstrated skill in leadership/management
Current experience in intermediate or critical care clinical practice. 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
Demonstrated job related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Must be proficient in computer software applications
Certification in a role or specialty through a nationally recognized professional nursing certification body. If not currently certified must seek certification in a role or specialty as soon as eligible to sit for the exam.
$48,000.00 to Commensurate
