Buchanan County Health Center
The Restorative CNA assists in restorative or rehabilitative resident care throughout the Long Term Care area. Delivers and appropriately documents the quality therapeutic care provided to residents as ordered by the licensed medical staff with the goal to safety assist residents to achieve and maintain their maximum level of function as progresses along the continuum. Is a participating member of the care team to help maintain the physical, social, and psychological environment conducive to residents welfare and best interest.
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read and write the English language required.
Must successfully complete CNA certification as required by Iowa Department of Health standards.
CPR certification required.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
One year of CNA experience preferred.
Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others. Maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement.
Excellent team player and communication skills required
10:30am - 7:00pm every other weekend
