Responsible for the coordination of Case Management patient care. Makes assignments that will maintain quality of patient care, in accordance with BMC objectives and policies through planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the services provided to patients and families.
Under the direct supervision of a registered RDCS/RVT technologist, Radiologist, Cardiologist and Imaging Services Supervisor the Ultrasound intern will perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, carotid duplex, venous duplex and TEE exams for both outpatients and inpatients. The scope of testing provided is cardiac and vascular for patients of all ages, gender, cultures and background. This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Under the clinical supervision of the manager of residential facilities the primary responsibilities are to develop and implement individual program plans, serve as an advocate and role model for all group home clients, plan and supervise client activities, assist clients in adjusting to community expectations, document observations and the results of all interventions, uphold client rights including the right to confidentiality and maintain the group home
Provides nursing care to patients of all ages, gender, cultures, and backgrounds in clinic setting. Lab and office duties as needed.
Performs selected clinical tasks for patients of all ages and other basic duties.
Prescribes, provides, delegates, evaluates and coordinates comprehensive professional nursing care to patients, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
